Dear f-list, it's time for some pimping. :P
First, is any of you going to see The Anix in their US tour this spring?
If yes, I have a link for you (see below). If no, you should go. *nods*
I'm not pimping the band itself, because I don't really know them (they're pretty good from what I've heard on their MySpace, though), but they'll be touring with The Electric Diorama, which is an actually good Italian band. They follow the Cobra (as you might guess just by looking at them) which makes them badass. Last time I saw them Dude, the singer, was wearing a Saporta-purple hoodie, so yeah, he's rad like that. I should also mention the adorableness. <3
I'll go see them in February at their last Italian show and I wanted to spread the love, because they deserve it. Check out their MySpace and let me know what you think about them. If you have the chance to go and actually see them, that's even better.
Recommended songs: There's no quiet in here (not on the website, but you can listen to it here), Oh dear, now I'm sure I hate you
Album name: Lifemale
And... the pimping isn't over.
I should probably wait for this one, but hell, I can't. LOL
These are Cinderella's Revenge and they're recording their first album right now. And I mean, like, while I'm writing this the singer and the bassist are in the studio, recording. LOL
That's also why there's only one song on the website (my favorite and it's not gonna be in the album *sighs*), but hey, keep an eye on them 'cause they're rad and damn good and such nice guys you can't even imagine. <3
Their main genres are rock and screamo, but there's some melodic parts and the lyrics are awesome. I'm afraid you'll have to trust me on this until they put up the new versions, but feel free to fall in love with Alex's voice, he deserves it. If you live here in Italy, come see them as soon as you can, you won't regret it.
Recommended songs: If only words could describe this, You can call this vengeance
Album name: tba
Well, I guess I'm done for now, but you'll hear more about both these bands. Especially C'sR, as soon as the new tracks are up.
Let me know your thoughts, folks, I'm counting on it.
