Today I was finally given the schedule for the journey to Africa!!! I'm so happy, I can't believe I'm really gonna go!!!!
Before you start to think I went crazy, let me explain...
My school, here in Italy, near Milano (north Italy), is twinned to a school in an African Mission in Tanzania. During last year, we (we = me, my class and our physics' teacher) organized a project in which we learned how to use and assemble electronic components. Those components have now to be brought to the African school, so a few students and our teacher are going to Africa to bring them and to explain to the local students and teachers.
The main reason I'm one of the five students who're going is that I'm nearly the only one in the class that speaks and understands English, and since no one of us can talk the local language (which I think it's Swahili, but I'm not totally sure O_ò), we're gonna have to communicate in English. (Besides, I
really really really suck at physics XD This part -electricity and related stuff- is the only part of which I actually
know something!)
So yeah, I'm gonna go to Africa, and I'm so excited, 'cause I've always wanted to see Africa, and this is a dream that comes true! *___*
Here's the schedule I've been given!!
